Agri. Founded in 1918, the City of Delson is the contraction of the name of the junction of two railways formed of the first and last syllables of the Delaware and Hudson Railway Junction. On January 3, 1918, part of the territory of the municipality of the parish of Saint-Constant became, by proclamation of King George V, the municipality of the village of Delson. On January 23 of the same year, Mr. J. Elzéar Cusson was elected mayor. City of workers,

Delson is also recognized for its industrial park which, even today, is the pride of its citizens. In this centennial year, Mr. Poissant invites all the Delsonians and their families to participate in the various activities that will be held throughout the municipality. A fun way to remember and pay tribute to all who have shaped the beautiful history of the City of Delson.
